On December 6, together with the Tinnitus Center of Charit\u00e9 \u2013 Universit\u00e4tsmedizin Berlin, we hosted the 26th Tinnitus Symposium in Berlin. We were very pleased by the large number of guests; a total of 150 participants registered for the event. This symposium once again offered valuable insights into key areas of tinnitus research, ranging from psychosomatic and neurobiological perspectives to sleep regulation, diagnostic standards, and new aspects of vertigo and cochlear implantation.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Birgit Mazurek spoke about “Current Status of Tinnitus Research, Prof. Dr. Matthias Rose gave insights into “Psychosomatic Medicine in the Year 2049\u201c, Prof. Dr. Stuck informed about “Aspects of Sleep Regulation”, Prof. Dr. St\u00f6ver pointed out “Regenerative Possibilities of the Inner Ear”. Dr. Steinmetzger gave on overview over “Diagnostic Standards for Tinnitus” followed by a Q&A with his colleague at Charit\u00e9, Dr. Benjamin B\u00f6cking. Prof. Dr. Lempert focussed on “Dizziness \u2013 A Neurological Perspective”. Bernd Strohschein explained the sucessful self help activities of German Tinnitus League and afterwards the Foundation received a grateful donation by the German Tinnitus League 2025. Prof. Dr. Strieth outlined “Vestibular Side Effects after Cochlear Implantation”, Prof. Dr. Olze reported on Cochlear Implant (CI) \u2013 New Challenges and Limitations, Prof. Dr. Landgrebe presented “Psychological Burdens in Older Patients” and Prof. Dr. Giroud closed this year’s Tinnitus Symposium with her lecture on “Aging and a Healthy Brain”.<\/p>\n

Now, we are looking forward to our next conference: The TRI Conference in Berlin, 16-18 September 2026.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
