It appoints the Executive Board and approves the Foundation&#8217;s annual report. At the same time, he is director emeritus of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Toxicology and former scientific director of Labor Berlin Charit\u00e9 Vivantes GmbH. His work focused on elucidating the pathogenesis of diseases and developing new diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and strategies.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Tauber is a member of numerous scientific associations. In 2011, he was appointed as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the German Foundation Tinnitus and Hearing Charit\u00e9. Heinz D\u00fcrr (\u2020)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ing. Heinz D\u00fcrr was Honorary Chairman of D\u00fcrr AG, a leading global supplier of products, systems and services for the automotive and aircraft industries. He restructured the AEG Group and merged Deutsche Bundesbahn and Deutsche Reichsbahn. Norbert P. Haas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prof. Dr. Norbert P. Haas, full professor at the Charit\u00e9 since 1992, is director emeritus of the Center for Musculoskeletal Surgery at the Charit\u00e9 &#8211; Universit\u00e4tsmedizin Berlin, Clinic for Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery and Clinic for Orthopedics. The center is the largest accident surgery-orthopedic center in Germany. Prof. Dr. Haas is a member\/honorary member of numerous national and international scientific societies, institutions, editorial boards and advisory bodies. Until 2022, he was managing director of Restrukturierungspartner RSP GmbH &amp; Co, one of the leading consulting firms around the crisis. The graduate engineer has many years of experience in out-of-court restructuring and restructuring in insolvency. He is chairman of the restructuring and insolvency consulting association of the Bundesverband Deutscher Unternehmensberater BDU e. V. Burkhard Jung has been associated with the foundation since its inception and was a member of the board in 2019\/2020.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>&#8220;<\/em>Tinnitus is also a stress-related condition, and the counseling profession is unthinkable without a certain amount of stress. Therefore, a commitment to the German Foundation Tinnitus and Hearing Charit\u00e9 was obvious for me. It is important to me to educate people about tinnitus and how it develops, which in many cases is preventable. After graduating in business administration from the Technical University of Berlin, Carsten Jung completed further studies at the Harvard Business School in Boston. For Carsten Jung, volunteering is part of the way of life. That is why he did not want to avoid involvement in the German Foundation Tinnitus and Hearing Charit\u00e9:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>&#8220;Our bank co-founded the foundation and has supported it continuously ever since. But for me, this work, in its combination of research and prevention, is both a very personal and an entrepreneurial concern. In addition, Martin Menking is engaged in chamber music together with colleagues in various formations, but especially in the unique formation &#8220;The 12 Cellists&#8221;, of which he is the managing director. Together with the 12 cellists, but also as a soloist, Martin Menking has received many public awards.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>&#8220;The topic of tinnitus\/hearing disorders affects just about all of us. In 1994, he was appointed university professor of pharmacology. In 1996, he was appointed Executive Director of the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Charit\u00e9. Heidi Olze<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"content-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"content-right\">\n<div class=\"csc-textpic csc-textpic-intext-left\">\n<div class=\"csc-textpic-text\">\n<p>Prof. Dr. med. Olze is Executive Director of the Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic of Charit\u00e9-Universit\u00e4tsmedizin Berlin at Campus Virchow Klinikum and Campus Charit\u00e9 Mitte. All forms of hearing disorders, which are often associated with tinnitus, are treated at the clinic. The spectrum of care is correspondingly broad, ranging from hearing-improving surgeries to middle ear and cochlear implants to brainstem implants. In addition to this surgical focus, she conducts clinical and basic research in the field of hearing implants.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>&#8220;Hearing improvement and tinnitus reduction often go hand in hand &#8211; understanding these connections is important. He is a partner of G\u00d6RG Rechtsanw\u00e4lte. Clemens Scholz-Remes is active as a business consultant, but also as an ombudsperson for the Federal Ministry of the Interior and some federal authorities.
