TinWise: Gamified digital solutions for tinnitus health literacy
A new publication from the TinWise project, conducted at Tinnituszentrum Charité, presents an innovative digital approach to improving health literacy for people with tinnitus. The publication by Dr. E. Paraskevopoulos, Prof. Dr. M. Avraamides, Prof. Dr. P. Bamidis, Prof. Dr. C. Dobel, Dr. C. I. Ioannou, Dr. C. Lukas, Prof. Dr. B. Mazurek, A. Shimi, E. Sidiropoulos, Dr. K. Steinmetzger and E. Vellidou (“Gamified Digital Solutions for Tinnitus Health Literacy: The Erasmus+ Project TinWise,” Healthcare Technology Letters, 2026) outlines the scientific approach of TinWise, an Erasmus+ project that examines, how gamification and digital learning can support self-management und health competence of people suffering from tinnitus.
The project will provide interactive educational games, an AI-powered chatbot, and a patient networking service to improve health literacy and empower people living with tinnitus. In addition, TinWise will offer digital learning resources for healthcare professionals, supporting the integration of innovative digital tools into tinnitus care across Europe.
