reCaptcha
We use Google’s reCaptcha service to determine whether a human or a computer is making a particular entry in our contact or newsletter form. Google uses the following data to check whether you are a human or a computer: IP address of the terminal device used, the website you visit with us on which the captcha is embedded, the date and duration of the visit, the recognition data of the browser and operating system type used, Google account if you are logged in to Google, mouse movements on the reCaptcha areas and tasks that require you to identify images. There is a legitimate interest on our side in this data processing to ensure the security of our website and to protect us from automated entries (attacks).
Analysis services
Our website uses the web analytics service Matomo (formerly Piwik). Matomo uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. For this purpose, the usage information generated by the cookie (including your shortened IP address) is transmitted to our server at our web hosting provider and stored for usage analysis purposes. Your IP address is immediately anonymized during this process, so that you as a user remain anonymous to us. The information transmitted by the cookie about your use of this website will not be shared with third parties. You can prevent the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser software.
If you do not agree with the storage and analysis of this data from your visit, then you can object to the storage and use below by mouse click at any time. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie is placed in your browser, which means that Matomo does not collect any session data. Attention: If you delete all cookies in your browser, this has the consequence that the opt-out cookie is also deleted and may have to be reactivated by you.
