ASK FOR DONATIONS INSTEAD OF GIFTS
Special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries or company celebrations offer a wonderful opportunity to do good: instead of gifts, ask your guests to make a donation to the Foundation Tinnitus and Hearing Charité (known as ‘peer-to-peer fundraising’).
It’s that easy:
- Choose an occasion: Any private or professional celebration is suitable for a personal fundraising campaign. Or you can invest a little more time and organise your own campaign that suits you particularly well – perhaps a five-kilometre run, a golf tournament or a bake sale?
- Inform your guests: Mention in the invitation that you would like donations – perhaps with a short sentence explaining your motivation.
- Make donating easy: Provide the donation account or a donation link, or set up a donation box on the day of the event.
- Express your gratitude: Thank your guests after the celebration and share the donation total.
With a ‘donations instead of gifts’ campaign, you can turn special moments into lasting support for people with tinnitus and hearing impairments.
