Tinnitus: What can be done about annoying noises in the ears?

Our Chairwoman and Director of the Tinnitus Centre Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Prof. Dr Birgit Mazurek, was a guest on Deutschlandfunk’s ‘Sprechstunde’ programme. She provided information about the symptoms, causes, treatment and secondary diseases of tinnitus; Bernd Strohschein, Chairman of the German Tinnitus League, reported on what it means to live with tinnitus. Prof. Dr. Maria Klatte, Professor of Cognitive and Developmental Psychology at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern-Landau, answered questions from editor Magdalena Schmude about the relationship between noise pollution and stress on the well-being, concentration and language development of children in kindergartens and schools.
