After several years of intensive collaboration among numerous European tinnitus research groups, including the Tinnitus Center at Charité, the Association of the Scientific Medical Societies published the first European Tinnitus Guideline in the spring of 2019. Professor Dr. Med. Birgit Mazurek was a member of the scientific leadership committee and, together with Professor Dr. Med. Gerhard Hesse was responsible for coordination.
