Scientifically proven basis for evaluating the effectiveness of tinnitus therapies
After several years of intensive collaboration between numerous European tinnitus research groups, including the Tinnitus Center of the Charité – Universitäts-medizin Berlin, the Association of the Scientific Medical Societies has published the first European tinnitus guideline in spring 2019. Professor Birgit Mazurek, MD, was a member of the scientific steering committee and was responsible for coordination together with Professor Gerhard Hesse, MD.
